Herrengasse
Herrengasse runs from the main square to St. Veiter Tor (former fortified gate).
The street is lined by some interesting buildings, including Herrengasse 8, 9, 11 and 13.
Former District Court (Herrengasse 8)
The late historicist building, built in 1906 CE as a district court, has decorative elements in the tradition of the old German style. The building is dominated by a mighty spire. The east facade features a vestibule and a staircase.
Both the east and the south facades have elegant stucco decorations. A double eagle stucco decoration is placed prominently on the south facade. The elaborate wooden furnishings show Art Nouveau shapes.
