Building a Medieval Castle

An extraordinary project is being developed in an area located in the south of Friesach. Here, a medieval castle is being built without modern technology.

Only tools and techniques belonging to the Middle Ages are being used for the construction work.

Visitors can watch stonemasons, carpenters, woodcutters, blacksmiths and ropemakers at work.
