Neumarkter Tor Bridge (North Bridge)
This bridge spans the north section of the moat and connects Wiener Straße with Neumarkter Straße.
Passage
Traders from the north were able to cross the bridge and enter the town by passing through the Neumarkter Tor (fortified north gate).
Today, the bridge allows traffic and pedestrians to cross the north section of the moat in both directions.
Construction
It is a stone bridge with three arches. The central arch is the highest.
The ring stones (voussoirs) forming the arch rings are clearly visible in all three arches.
The two masonry piers are tall and robust.
A stone parapet prevents pedestrians from falling off the bridge.
